§ Mr. Lennox-BoydWe continue to provide substantial development aid and humanitarian assistance to Kenya. In addition, we are prepared to pledge new fast disbursing balance of payments assistance once the international financial institutions assess that Kenya has made satisfactory progress in implementing the recently agreed IMF-monitored economic reform programme and subject to the political environment being acceptable.
