To ask the Secretary of State for National Heritage what progress has been made on ground safety improvements at second and third division Football League clubs.

Since 1990, £4,515,269 has been awarded by the Football trust for ground safety improvements by clubs in the second and third divisions of the Football League. Considerable progress has been made by a number of clubs, and I shall be looking to the Football Licensing Authority to ensure that clubs continue to improve the structure and management of their facilities.
