§ Mr. KeyIn accordance with the Department's normal practice, all those who have objected to the published proposals for the A27 Worthing-Lancing improvement scheme were sent details of the forthcoming public inquiry by recorded delivery. Any items not delivered by the Post Office are returned to the Department. To date, four of the 1,098 notifications issued have been returned.
Alternative proposals need to be received by 18 June so that the Department's consultants can prepare a plan of each alternative for discussion with the proposer and publication in sufficient time for the public to consider and comment on it before the start of the inquiry on 28 September.
