§ Mr. VazTo ask the Secretary of State for Foreign and Commonwealth Affairs what plans the Government have to ask the United Nations to intervene in the case of the 400 Palestinians expelled from Israel last December.
§ Mr. Douglas HoggWe voted for United Nations Security Council resolution (UNSCR) 799 which calls for the return of the deportees. We welcome the recent Israeli Government announcement that they have no plans to resort to deportations and their hope that compliance with SCR 799 can be achieved.
