§ Mr. AingerTo ask the Secretary of State for the Environment whether the measures adopted in the agreement on the conservation of small cetaceans of the Baltic and North sea will apply throughout United Kingdom waters.
§ Mr. YeoThe Government strongly support the agreement. We have also made it clear that we shall apply the spirit of the agreement in order to conserve dolphins and other small cetaceans in all our coastal waters. Work to implement the agreement is already being taken forward on that basis.
