Mr. Robert Banks

To ask the Secretary of State for Foreign and Commonwealth Affairs if he will list the sections and organisations within his Department for which there are plans for relocation or amalgamation.

Mr. Goodlad

The diplomatic wing plans to relocate a small number of posts in 1993 and 1994. Otherwise, there are no plans to relocate or amalgamate sections and organisations of the Foreign and Commonwealth Office.
