To ask the Secretary of State for Health what progress she has made with plans to identify and reimburse hospitals for costs incurred in organ donation.

Mr. Sackville

Since April 1992, national health service hospitals have been able to obtain reimbursement from central funds for the costs of maintaining potential organ donors in their intensive therapy units.
