To ask the Secretary of State for Employment how many executive staff in the Department of Employment in(a) Dundee and (b) Scotland who have been declared as surplus to requirements; and if he will make a statement.

[holding answer 26 July 1993]: The Employment Department group currently has five executive staff in Scotland who have been declared as surplus to requirements. None of them is in Dundee.
