§ Mr. Nigel Griffiths
To ask the Secretary of State for Foreign and Commonwealth Affairs what nominations he has made to the European Community Economic and Social Committee to fill the vacancies which occurred during 1992.

§ Mr. Heathcoat-Amory
Candidates have been selected to fill the vacancies which occurred last year and a further vacancy this year. The candidates have been informed of their nomination. Their details will shortly be passed to the Council secretariat for formal approval by the Council of Ministers.
