§ Mr. ForthWe will continue our policy of stimulating, encouraging and supporting work within schools and the youth service, with a view to ensuring that young people are made aware of the dangers of drug misuse, and are equipped with the attitudes and skills they need to resist pressures to use or misuse them. In addition, all maintained schools are already required to promote education about drugs as part of national curriculum science.
