To ask the Secretary of State for Wales (1) if he will list the beaches tested for entero-viruses in Wales in(a) 1991 and (b) 1992;

(2) how many tests for salmonella were conducted on each beach in Wales in (a) 1991 and (b)

The number of samples analysed by the National Rivers Authority for entero-viruses and for salmonella from EC identified bathing waters in Wales were published in the 1991 and 1992 volumes of "Bathing Water Quality in England and Wales", copies of which are available in the Library of the House.
