§ Mr. Charles WardleSecured by Design is a police initiative which has had the Government's full support since its inception, and we publish publicity material promoting its merits. The initiative will be further promoted in forthcoming guidance to local planning authorities on crime prevention to be issued by the Department of the Environment in consultation with the Home Office.
