§ Mr. BoswellMy right hon. Friend has received no general proposals for change in this area. Officials of the Department for Education have held discussions with officials at the Department of Health about the arrangements for funding undergraduate courses in speech and language therapy, dietetics and chiropody. No decisions have yet been reached. Any proposals for change which may emerge from these discussions will be considered in consultation with higher education institutions, professional bodies and the NHS.
