To ask the President of the Board of Trade, pursuant to his answer to the hon. Member for Barrow and Furness (Mr. Hutton), of 14 June,Official Report, columns 409–10, which bodies have been consulted for their views on the draft United Kingdom programme for the KONVER scheme; and what is the planned size of the draft United Kingdom programme.

[holding answwer 23 July 1993]: The United Kingdom KONVER programme will request 20.12 million ecu, which is the full amount allocated to the United Kingdom for 1993.

Consultation on the draft programme will proceed during August, and will include the training and enterprise councils, the local enterprise companies, the local authority associations, and the Rural Development Commission.
