HL Deb 23 July 1993 vol 548 c69WA
Baroness Strange

asked Her Majesty's Government:

Whether they have considered giving parity of pension with other British war widows to the 42 British war widows resident in Britain whose husbands either served in New Zealand or enlisted in New Zealand.

Lord Henley

The Government remain of the view that the level of war widows' pensions paid to the widows of men who served in the independent New Zealand Armed Forces is a matter entirely for the New Zealand Government.
