§ Mrs. FyfeTo ask the Secretary of State for Scotland if he will publish Greater Glasgow health board's own submissions on the options for change in its acute and maternity services.
§ Mr. Stewart[holding answer 5 July 1993]: Any proposals for change in the organisation of acute and maternity services for Glasgow must be approved by the Secretary of State for Scotland. Before any proposals can be presented, the health board is required to carry out a lengthy public consultation exercise.
The Greater Glasgow health board continues consideration of this issue.
