§ Mr. FlynnTo ask the Secretary of State for Education if he will take steps to ensure that musically gifted children from all parts of inner London can continue to receive tuition at the Centre for Young Musicians.
§ Mr. ForthThe activities of the Centre for Young Musicians are funded from a number of sources—including the Department for Education. We are supporting the central costs of the centre with £100,000 funding for each of the three years 1993–96. I welcome the support given by private sponsors and hope that London children will continue to benefit from the opportunities offered by the centre.
