§ Mr. WareingTo ask the Prime Minister, pursuant to his answer to the hon. Member for Blackpool, North (Mr. Elletson) of 5 July,Official Report, column 15, on actions by the Serbian Government, if he will list (a) the actions taken by that Government which Her Majesty's Government considers to have fulfilled the requirements of the London conference and (b) the ways in which they have failed to co-operate satisfactorily with the international community's peace efforts.
§ The Prime MinisterThe Serbian leadership bears a heavy burden of responsibility for the conflicts in the former Yugoslavia, and has not met the fundamental requirements contained in the statement of principles of the London conference to end hostilities and the acquisition of territory by force, to engage in serious negotiation with the other parties, to respect the rights and basic needs of civilians, and to meet the obligations of all relevant United Nations Security Council resolutions.
