HC Deb 09 July 1993 vol 228 cc311-4W
Mr. Harvey

To ask the Secretary of State for Defence how many flying days have been lost due to bad weather, at each RAF base in Support Command since 1979.

Mr. Hanley

I will write to the hon. Member.

Mr. Harvey

To ask the Secretary of State for Defence how much money has been spent on maintenance by each base in Support Command since 1979.

Mr. Hanley

Information is available only from financial year 1990–91. The information shown is for property maintenance work costing less than £300,000 which comes under the unit's own budget. Projects costing more than £300,000 are controled centrally and cannot be accredited to the individual unit or establishment without disproportionate cost.
