To ask the Secretary of State for the Home Department what steps the Metropolitan police take to consult the Royal Ulster Constabulary in Londonderry in appropriate cases.

The Metropolitan police have a close working relationship with the Royal Ulster Constabulary and will take whatever steps are appropriate to consult the RUC where necessary.
