§ Mr. AitkenA consultation document has been issued today.
The document will be provided to representatives of those of my Department's staff who may be affected by the proposals, hon. Members with a constituency interest, the relevant local authorities, the dockyard management companies and other interested parties. Copies of the document have also been placed in the Vote Office and in the Libraries of both Houses.
Comments on the proposals are to be made to my Department by no later than 10 September.
