(2) how many full and part-time civil servants are employed in his Department monitoring the activities of the English tourist board; and what will be the cost of their salaries in the current financial year.
§ Mr. SproatThere are 20 staff employed in my Department's tourism division, including two who work part-time. It is part of the division's role to ensure that the British Tourist Authority and the English tourist board make effective and efficient use of the money voted to them by Parliament. The division's salary budget for 1993,–94 is £448,820.
