(2) if he will make a statement on the current situation in respect of the Central line service between Epping and Ongar.
§ Mr. FreemanOn 5 May 1993, London Underground Ltd. published notice of its intention to seek closure of the 211W Central line between Epping and Ongar. Due to the Secretary of State's quasi-judicial role in the closure proceedings, it would not be appropriate for me to make any comments on the subject at this stage.
