(2) what has been the percentage increase in fares in Network SouthEast in real terms since May 1979.
§ Mr. FreemanThe overall cash increase in Network SouthEast fares between 1979 and 1992–93 was 234 per cent. The retail prices index increased by 146 per cent. over the same period, giving an overall fare increase in real terms of 36 per cent.
