HL Deb 06 July 1993 vol 547 cc48-9WA
The Earl of Kimberley

asked Her Majesty's Government:

How many salmon and sea trout were caught by the Crown Commission coastal nets (fixed engines) in (a) the Moray Firth area and (b) on other parts of the coast of Scotland each year for the last five years.

The Minister of State, Scottish Office (Lord Fraser of Carmyllie)

I understand that the Crown Estate Commissioners do not themselves operate any fixed engine coastal nets around the coast of Scotland.
