HC Deb 02 July 1993 vol 227 cc655-6W
Mr. Ainger

To ask the President of the Board of Trade what is his estimate of the amounts of low and intermediate level nuclear wastes that would be stored in the United Kingdom if the British Nuclear Fuels plc proposal for nuclear waste substitution is accepted.

Appointments are made on the basis of relevant experience and qualifications. No details are kept of board members' current occupations and employers.

The posts and salaries/allowances which have changed since the publication of "Public Bodies 1992" are listed in the table. Those marked with an asterisk denote salary/allowance changes only.

Mr. Eggar

The amounts of such wastes that would be retained in the United Kingdom depend on the extent to which customers accept any substitution proposals BN FL may be authorised to make.
