§ Mr. Charles WardleThe Government are currently reviewing the relevant legislation covering the use of radio equipment which might be used to intercept telecommunications. There are, however, no plans to place further restrictions on the manufacture, sale or ownership of scanning receivers under section 5 of the Wireless Telegraphy Act 1949.
