§ Mr. Llew SmithTo ask the Secretary of State for the Environment who have been nominated by Her Majesty's Government to represent the United Kingdom on the Advisory Committee for the community plan for action in the field of radioactive waste management under council resolution of 29 June 1984; what criteria are used in choosing United Kingdom nominations; and if he will set out the qualifications of the current United Kingdom representatives.
§ Mr. YeoThe United Kingdom representatives on the committee are the head of the Department's radioactive substances division and his counterpart in the Scottish Office. The occupants of these posts are well placed to provide appropriate advice to the Commission.
