§ Mr. SackvilleRegional transfusion centres are able to supply blood donors with information on how they can become bone marrow donors. Awareness of the possibility of giving bone marrow has increased among blood donors in recent years. The British bone marrow and platelet donor panel recruits donors exclusively through the blood transfusion services and in 1992 recorded a net increase of 12,000 donors.
