§ Mr. Gwilym JonesIt is not possible to separately identify resources allocated to schizophrenia or to the support of people with Alzheimer's Disease and their families. An estimated £211 million is being spent on mental illness services in Wales and an additional £6.3 million is available this year through the mental illness strategy. The Welsh Office is also making available some £110,000 to enable the National Schizophrenia Fellowship to operate in Wales and some £26,000 similarly for the Alzheimer's Disease Society.
