§ Mr. MacleanWe set out our proposals in chapter 11 of the White Paper "This Common Inheritance: The Second Year Report" (Cm. 2068), published last October. They include tighter standards on emissions from vehicles and industry, increased effort on air quality monitoring in our cities, and development of new standards and guidelines for a range of pollutants.
