§ Mr. JackA total of £3.2 million has been distributed from the seized assets fund in 1992–93, the first year of its operation, to enforcement agencies and a variety of individual projects directed against drug misuse. We are considering the possibility of further funding being made available from this source for similar purposes during the next financial year. The final amount available to the fund for distribution will depend on the success of international operations to confiscate the assets of drug traffickers.
