§ Mr. YeoI last met the Association of Metropolitan Authorities and the Association of County Councils on 17 December 1992. The subject of the independent living fund was not raised.
Officials from the Department and the Department of Social Security will be meeting officials of the local authority associations shortly to discuss the new arrangement.
