§ Sir John CopeCustoms and the Department o f Employment are jointly consulting with training and enterprise councils and other training providers in order to assess the impact of VAT on Government-funded training schemes. It is too early yet to predict whether these consultations will result in a recommendation for a change in VAT legislation.
