§ Mr. BoswellThe Government's general policy for further and higher education is to create a framework to enable institutions to meet the widely differing needs of students. It is for institutions to decide which courses to 539W offer, and to help students to select those courses which meet their needs. The Government would expect institutions, including local authority adult centres, to take account of the need for education about parenthood, building on that provided in school in collaboration with other appropriate agencies, including the youth service.
