§ Mr. David HuntInformation on those with a health problem or disability which limits the kind of paid work they can do is available from the labour force survey, but is only collected for people of working age. It is estimated that, in the summer of 1992, 7 per cent. of such people were unemployed according to the International Labour Organisation definition. A further 12 per cent. said they would like a job but were not currently looking for work. These estimates are based on very small samples in Wales and may be subject to large sampling variability.
