§ Mr. Archie HamiltonThe Ministry of Defence agreed in 1991 that MOD support vessels operating in the area would report to the Stornoway coastguard on an opportunity basis sightings of laden tankers transitting the Minches. Records have not been kept of any reports made under this arrangement.
