§ Mr. Ieuan Wyn JonesTo ask the Secretary of State for Wales if he will list the activities arranged in Wales to date by his Department to mark the European Year of Older People and Solidarity between Generations in Wales.
§ Mr. David HuntMy Department has commissioned and supported Age Concern Wales to arrange a programme of events to mark the Year, which was formally launched on 11 January. A steering group has been set up to act as the focal point for discussion of ideas, consideration of proposals for events and activities and recommendation of projects and priorities for Wales during the Year.
