To ask the Secretary of State for Defence, pursuant to his answer of 12 January,Official Report, column 749, to the hon. Member for Halifax (Mrs. Mahon), whether the details of the sale of Hawk aircraft to Indonesia will be included in the UN register of arms sales; and if the entries in the register will be available for inspection in the Library.

A sale of Hawk aircraft to Indonesia would be included in the UN register of conventional arms transfers. The British contribution to the register will be placed in the Library of the House.
