HC Deb 21 January 1993 vol 217 c387W
Mr. Jon Owen Jones

To ask the Secretary of State for Health how many(a) men and (b) women in England and Wales were recorded as having suffered from cystitis in 1992.

Dr. Mawhinney

The incidence of this condition is not routinely recorded centrally. In 1981–82 the third national morbidity survey showed that in England and Wales 8.5 men per thousand and 43.8 women per thousand received treatment for cystitis.
