§ Mr. BaldryThe Department does not hold details of the national origins of people allocated accommodation under the homelessness legislation. As the Minister for Housing and Planning, my hon. Friend the Member for Ealing, Acton (Sir G. Young), announced on 16 November 1992, at column54, the Government are making available a special grant for local authorities faced with exceptional costs arising from the influx of refugees from the former Yugoslav republic; the distribution of that grant has not yet been decided.
