§ Mr. AitkenThere are four academics fully sponsored by my Department under the defence lectureship scheme, based at Aberdeen, Aberystwyth, Birmingham and London universities. My Department also continues to meet the administrative and support costs of two academics at Cambridge university who have come to the end of their lectureship term.
