§ Mr. DewarTo ask the Secretary of State for Social Security if he will list the areas in which cold weather payments have been triggered since 1 November 1991, the national climatological message stations involved, the dates in each case between which payments were made, the numbers of people who have received such payments in each of those areas and the total sum paid out during each such period.
§ Mr. ScottSo far this winter more than 2.6 million people have been sent cold weather payments worth in total more than £16 million. The specific information requested on weather stations, trigger dates and the number of payments made is made available in the Library.
