§ Mr. Archie HamiltonNone. All officers, including pilots, who retire or leave the RAF are encouraged to join the volunteer reserve forces. They are issued with a booklet, "Notes for Officers retiring from the Royal Air Force", which gives details of the roles of the various reserve units and their locations.
