§ Sir Wyn RobertsThe national record of achievement is an effective summary for school-leavers to take forward to further education and working life. Recent evaluation has shown that take-up of the NRA among schools has been high. I attach significant value to the continued use of the NRA. That is why regulations governing reports on pupils' achievements which are to be laid before Parliament shortly will require schools in Wales to use the NRA format to provide a specified minimum of information for school-leavers. Copies of the regulations and an explantory circular will be placed in the Library of the House.
