§ Mr. BattleTo ask the Chancellor of the Exchequer what was(a) the total amount invested in the business expansion scheme for each year since the scheme's inception, (b) the amount invested in private rented housing, for each year since the scheme was extended to housing, (c) the total cost of tax relief for each year and (d) the amount of tax relief in respect of investment in private rented housing, for each year from 1988–89 to 1992–93.
