asked Her Majesty's Government:

Whether it is their intention to contribute to the expenses of the United States forces now operating in Somalia, and if so under what conditions.

We are already contributing to the unified task force by providing two RAF transport aircraft and accompanying personnel. We are also, with our EC partners, contributing to the costs of the Belgian deployment. We have no plans to make any contributions to US costs.
