§ Mr. Chris SmithTo ask the Attorney-General what response he has made to submissions he has received from senior University of London academics, concerning the scheme devised by the Charity Commission for the sale of paintings from the Founder's collection, Royal Holloway and Bedford new college.
§ The Attorney-GeneralI have replied that I have found nothing in those submissions to cause me to revise my view that the Charity Commissioners had sufficient evidence before them to reach a decision to approve a scheme and that I would not be furthering the interests of charity by commencing an appeal against their decision to do so.
