§ Sir Wyn RobertsThe appointment of directors to training and enterprise council boards is a matter for individual TECs in accordance with the broad criteria set out in the TEC operating agreement. We expect the private sector directors of individual TEC boards to reflect broadly the pattern of employment in their area. We have no plans to alter this arrangement.
The manufacturing sector is represented on all TEC boards in Wales; five of the seven Welsh chairmen of TEC boards are from manufacturing industry.
