§ The Attorney-GeneralAn SFO investigation into aspects of the affairs of Butte Mining plc commenced in June 1992. The SFO target for cases generally is one year from acceptance for investigation to transfer to Crown court. It is policy not to divulge operational details relating to the progress of particular investigations.
